This quilt holds a special place as my first show quilt. It all started with a bet from my mom—she challenged me to make a purple quilt, and I couldn’t resist the chance to prove her wrong. The corner LeMoyne stars are appliquéd onto the setting squares, surrounded by intricate feathered wreaths and crosshatching, bringing a traditional touch to the design.
