I Dream of Wild Horses
Inspired by a Jody Bergsma drawing. The Dream Catcher figures prominently in the culture of Native Americans. The web design represents strength and courage; the beads on the web, the spider as web weaver. The quilting in the dream catcher, and in the horses, incorporate original Native American Seminole designs. The background is quilted with designs that represent tribal culture and history.
