I Dream of Wild Horses
Inspired by a beautiful drawing by Jody Bergsma, this quilt incorporates the symbolism of the Dream Catcher, a powerful emblem in Native American culture. The web design represents strength and courage, while the beads on the web, and the spider, as the weaver, add layers of meaning. The quilting within the dream catcher and the horses features original Seminole Native American designs, carefully quilted onto the fabric. The background is filled with quilted patterns that reflect the rich history and cultural significance of tribal life. It’s a piece that honors tradition while telling a unique story through fabric.
