Textiles in the Land of the Rising Sun

Join me for 12 incredible days exploring the textiles of the Land of the Rising Sun. This textile tour of Japan includes several fascinating hands on workshops including one on Shibori dyeing and the other on Roketsu dyeing. Visits to Japan’s Traditional Crafts Aoyama Square, Nippori fabric town, Quilt Party, the Sashiko, Itchiku Kubota (traditional kimono collection), and Narumi Shibori museum provide plenty of opportunities to learn about the rich textile heritage of Japan, (and of course lots of opportunities to shop for unique fabrics).
