In this class, Kris walks you through how to find the perfect quilting design for your quilt. From where to find inspiration, to how to decide what quilting will suit your top. We will discuss quilting density, which type of thread to use and ways to plan out your quilting with minimal marking. Please bring your “trouble” tops and we will try and talk about how to quilt as many as possible.

From Funky to Formal

Intimidated by feathers? This class will having you quilting funky to formal feathers in no time. I’ll teach you all my tricks to make feathers into one of your favorite quilting designs. You’ll learn how to easily quilt feathers with little to no marking and how to fit them to any shape or block on your quilt. This class is designed for the person that already has some skill as a quilter, either on a domestic or a long arm. Examples of various shapes will be provided.

This class will walk you through how to make those quilts behave. We will cover ways to ease in fullness, how to pick quilting designs to help cover or eliminate problems, and how to just generally make those quilts behave.
