Absolutely not. This tour has plenty of activities for both quilters and non-quilters alike. Modifications can also be made, depending on the days itinerary to do your own non quilting activities.
Due to the many different locations our participants are from, it is not economical to include airfare in our trips. That being said, we will happily pair you up with a professional travel agent we work with. She will be happy to help you find the flights that best meets your needs.
We will be happy to provide you with directions on how to take a taxi or bus to the hotel.
Opulent Quilt Journeys will notify you as soon as the minimum number of travelers have book the tour. At this point, you may book your flights.

We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events. If you are unable to travel with us, we will be happy to apply your deposit to an upcoming tour within the next year. (If the tour does not go because of an issue on our end, your deposit will be refunded.)
You are welcome to come early or stay later than the tour. We would be happy to help you arrange hotels for extra nights. Please keep in mind that if you travel outside the set tour dates, airport transfers do not apply.
Although it can be heavily accented, the primary language spoken in Scotland is English.

You can easily get Pounds (Scottish currency) from ATM”S at the airport or any bank or convenience store. Make sure to check that your debit card can be used internationally and that it does not have a foreign transaction fee.
