I’d wanted to make a Stevie Nicks’, 60’s inspired jacket for a long time. When the SewBatik 2019 fabric was announced, I knew it was time. It was designed using several different patterns that I frankensteined together to get the look I wanted. The bottom is made in the crazy quilt style using a variety of fabrics, and the top is a combination of the challenge fabric and turquoise acetate. I free motion quilted it using a variety of motifs, including: feathers, flowers, and multiple background fillers.
